This will be something like the 9th year in a row that FBC has sponsored a Mission Trip to Costa Rica. There are several changes this year: We are going to San Jose instead of Liberia We are working with a new church, but several old friends - Pastor Jesse and his wife Jasmine, Carlos, and maybe some others. We're planning on VBS and house-to-house as we've done in the past, but some of the details are still tentative at this time. We'll be in a different hotel (obviously). We won't have a "final day" picture on the slide (you have to have followed us for several years to understand that reference). We are excited about the new work that God will be doing! For the next few updates, I'll be sharing some of the team members videos on "why" they are dedicating the time for the training, raising the funds, and going.   This video is from Caleb, who went for the first time last year. It's about 1 minute long. Prayer Needs Thank you for being a prayer partner for the team during the months leading up to the event, and especially while we are there. In this time before we actual depart, please pray for: hearts of the people who we will contact to be made ready to receive our message hearts of the team to be made ready to share preparation and acquisition of the material we need, and funds to arrive in a timely manner Speaking of funds: Since I'm getting a late start on the blog this year, we're actually in very reasonable shape. We are about 75% funded already! Please pray that the rest of the funds will come in. If you would like to contribute, you can do so here.
