Day Two
Today was first of four days that are (planned to be) fairly similar: morning and afternoon part of the team (and translators) will be going house to house, while the rest of the team (and translators) will be doing VBS on the soccer field.
Below: 1st image is team getting ready for House-to-House, the rest are out on the way!
VBS: Setting up, and activities: Soccer (lots of soccer), face painting, bubbles, parachute, crafts, stories, and skits.
One reward for the team for all the hard work is they eat well! Lunch is at the church, while dinner is at a local restaurant.
This is the church that we're serving with!
Prayer Needs
Thank you for being a prayer partner for the team while we are there. In this time while on site, please pray for:
hearts of the people who we will contact to be made ready to receive our message
hearts of the team to be made ready to share
Pray that we can get a full refund for Dale's unused Southwest trip.
We also need some more translators to work with us while we're there. We've run into a problem with a lot of them already busy or out of town. Pray that this issue can be resolved quickly!
