Day Three
This morning it rained. We only had a few kids show up. The house-to-house team had great results even in the rain. Jesus was preached, and many prayers were prayed. One house needed prayer greatly and a team happened to be there when needed. God orchestrated everything in His great timing.
In the afternoon VBS went much better, the sky cleared and even though it was wet VBS went forward. About 45 kids showed up, many were new faces. The word is getting around!
This evening was movie night, they showed "War Room."

The rain has let up for a few minutes. Enough time to get out and throw some balls around.
Afternoon VBS
Loving on the kids is an important way for us to share Christ's love! (Brian sets a good example!)
The Team
We had a few team members become sick this morning. One stayed back at the hotel, but joined the others by lunch. After lunch, everyone now feels fine again. We have not had any injuries, or major sicknesses. (Praise God) Most things have run smoothly and without any hiccups. The team is really become cohesive and enjoy working besides one another.

Prayer Needs
Thank you for being a prayer partner for the team while we are there. In this time while on site, please pray for:
The team to be encouraged and effective in spite of the weather
The hearts of the people who we will contact to be made ready to receive our message
The hearts of the team will be ready to share the love of Jesus
Pray that we can get a full refund for Dale's unused Southwest trip.
We also need some more translators to work with us while we're there. We've run into a problem with a lot of them already busy or out of town. Pray that this issue can be resolved quickly!
